The Seasoning and Spice Association

The mission of The Seasoning and Spice Association is to be the leading voice of the UK Seasoning and Spice industry in the interests of members, food manufacturers and consumers alike.

The SSA's principal objective is to represent the interests of its members in all matters pertaining to the trade in and processing, marketing and distribution of seasonings, herbs and spices and similar products.

The Seasoning and Spice Association is a member of the Food and Drink Federation www.fdf.org.uk.

Objectives of the Association

To provide a centre of communication for its members To represent members' interests in a responsible and consistent way To promote the wider use of seasoning and spices To strengthen and develop links with European & Worldwide organisations To ensure members are fully aware of all current and future legislation To lobby to ensure that new legislation not only offers effective protection for the consumer but is also proportionate To promote the continuous improvement of standards across the industry
